Fb Inc’s Instagram is testing a function to inform customers of outages or technical points immediately on the photo-sharing app, days after two outages disrupted the social media large’s providers.

The check will run in the US and can go on for a couple of months, Instagram stated in a weblog publish.

On Oct.4, a six-hour lengthy outage prevented the corporate’s 3.5 billion customers from accessing its social media and messaging providers, together with WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
